NLB Solutions are working with a motor trade business that is looking for an Assistant Dealership Accountant or Dealership Accountant to join an experienced team. The role is suitable for someone already in the dealership accountant position or someone who feels ready to step up. Candidates must have extensive motor trade experience.

Duties:
- Daily VRN (Vehicle Release Number) - Each vehicle finance is checked and cleared by an accountant before release of the vehicle
- Assist department managers and staff members with accounts queries or support required
- Assist cashier/accounts assistant with any queries they may have
- Month End routine journals and reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Vehicle & Fixed Asset depreciations
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Vehicle profit reconciliations to be reviewed with the management team
- VAT Return
- Manufacturer Reconciliations
- Composite submission to Manufacturers
- Assist Financial Controller with day-to-day tasks required
- Assist with external auditor requests as and when required
