NLB Solutions are working with a motor trade business that are looking for a Assistant Dealership Accountant or Dealership Accountant to join an experienced team to help support and work alongside an existing experienced team. The role will look t someone already doing the dealership accountant role or that feels that they are ready for the step up to the role. The candidates must already have extensive motor trade experience.

Duties:
- Daily VRN (Vehicle Release Number) – Each vehicle finance is checked and cleared by an accountant before release of the vehicle
- Assist department managers and staff members with accounts queries or support required
- Assist cashier/accounts assistant with any queries they may have
- Month End routine journals and reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Vehicle & Fixed Asset depreciations
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Vehicle profit reconciliations to then be reviewed with management team
- VAT Return
- Manufacturer Reconciliations
- Composite submission to Manufacturers
- Assist Financial Controller with day to day tasks required
- Assist with external auditor requests as an when required

- Working in a fast paced motor trade environment
- Working as part of team and supporting team members as they learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
