We’re looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team and manage the completion of major HVDC cable installation projects in the north of Scotland from planning through to completion. As a key member of our project leadership team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating site activities, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are met, and managing project timelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of civil engineering and cable installation works as part of the overall execution project.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Liaise directly with client project management and site representatives, attend all project meetings.
- Liaise with and lead meetings involving internal and external designers and local authorities.
- Identify risks (including QHSE) and opportunities; conduct follow-up work and decide on actions to mitigate identified risks or realise opportunities.
- Ensure that the work is performed according to Health understanding of marine cable installations at the landfalls, as marine interconnectors will be part of the project interface.
