We’re looking for an experienced HSE Department Manager (Tenders & Projects) to manage Health, Safety & Environmental performance across our UK customer tender pipeline and project portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
- Own HS&E governance for tenders and projects (plans, risk/RAMS oversight, audits, KPIs, escalation and learning).
- Manage and resource the Tender & Projects HS&E capability (mobilisation, utilisation, competence, performance, continuity).
- Assure HS&E and environmental compliance to legal, customer and contract/permit requirements.
- Provide senior HS&E interface to customers and internal stakeholders (Project/Tender Directors, Marine, Engineering, QA, Legal/Contracts, Procurement, HR).
- Implement continuous improvements in reporting, standards, templates and project learning.
Your profile
- Relevant degree (Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Business or similar).
- Significant HS&E leadership experience in complex infrastructure / offshore / marine / construction environments.
- Solid understanding of legal, regulatory and contractual HS&E requirements and how to translate them into practical controls.
- Demonstrated ability to manage consultant-heavy delivery models and contractor/subcontractor interfaces.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma or equivalent desirable).
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (ISO 14001 Internal Auditor desirable).
- Fluent English; Willing to travel to sites/vessels and offices as needed.
