As an Installation Proposal Manager, you will shape the installation solution in international tenders and support the development of high quality proposals. You will collaborate with colleagues across departments and work with complex projects that link technical solutions with commercial requirements.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our tender team, responsible for the installation aspect of our offers. You will be responsible for assigned projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create compelling proposals. You will develop the best methods and create installation proposals that meet our customers’ needs, in our global tenders. Identify and address potential risks while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency. Work closely with colleagues in the installation team and across different departments to generate efficient and robust solutions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Crafting compelling proposals and ensuring a seamless handover to the project installation team
- Developing clear, concise documentation for clients, describing installation methodology, associated risks, timelines, and budgets with precision
- Supporting the presentation of innovative installation solutions to clients
- Collaborating with internal teams (cable engineers, legal, procurement) and external partners (subcontractors, clients)
- Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with installation subcontractors
- Representing the installation department during client negotiations
You will be part of an international team located across multiple sites. Travel is expected at approximately 10–20 days per year, mainly within Europe.
To thrive in this role, you use clear communication and a focused mindset. You thrive when collaborating with your team members and other internal departments to optimize the technical and commercial solution for our customers. Equally important is your business‑oriented mindset and your ability to support negotiations with subcontractors and understand contractual information, in collaboration with your procurement colleagues. You also have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (civil, marine, mechanical, industrial engineering and management or similar)
- Experience in tendering, sales, procurement or project management, preferably gained in infrastructure, civil works, construction or the offshore sector
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Fluency in spoken and written English
