North Kent CollegesGroup is seeking a dynamic, creative and motivated Enrichment & EngagementOfficer to develop, coordinate and deliver an exciting, inclusive enrichmentprogramme across our colleges. This is an opportunity to make a real differenceto our students’ college experience by creating opportunities that buildconfidence, develop employability and life skills, and encourage students toget involved, connect with others and reach their potential.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and deliver anexciting, inclusive programme of enrichment activities, clubs, events andstudent-led opportunities.
- Create opportunitiesthat build confidence, resilience, employability and life skills.
- Work with curriculum andsupport teams to expand and diversify enrichment across the College.
- Engage students throughsports, volunteering, fundraising, social action and other activities.
- Listen to studentfeedback and use it to improve participation and the enrichment offer.
- Build partnerships withemployers, charities, community and sports organisations.
- Promote the College’sEnrichment brand and encourage students to get involved.
- Support College eventsand ensure all activities are safe, inclusive and accessible.
We’re looking for acreative, proactive and enthusiastic individual with experience of working withyoung people or students in an education, youth, community or similar setting,and experience of planning and delivering activities, events or programmes.You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the abilityto build positive relationships with students, colleagues and externalpartners. You’ll be flexible, hands on and solutions-focused, with a genuinecommitment to inclusion, student voice and personal development. You’ll alsohave Level 2 English and Maths (Grade 5 or above) and a First Aid at Work qualificationor be willing to undertake First Aid training.
