My client is looking for a lifting supervisor in Sunderland area, lifting down a concrete frame.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all crane and lifting operations on site.
- Ensure lifting plans are followed and all work is carried out in accordance with LOLER and site safety requirements.
- Liaise with Appointed Person, crane operators, slingers/signallers, and site management.
- Conduct pre-lift briefings, toolbox talks, and safety checks.
- Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance and safe practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and report any issues or incidents immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS/NPORS Crane Supervisor ticket – essential.
- Proven experience as a crane supervisor in construction or heavy lifting operations.
- Strong knowledge of lifting procedures, regulations, and site safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and understand lifting plans.
- CSCS card – preferred.
