My client is looking for a lifting supervisor in Sunderland area, lifting down a concrete frame.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all crane and lifting operations on site.
  • Ensure lifting plans are followed and all work is carried out in accordance with LOLER and site safety requirements.
  • Liaise with Appointed Person, crane operators, slingers/signallers, and site management.
  • Conduct pre-lift briefings, toolbox talks, and safety checks.
  • Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance and safe practices at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any issues or incidents immediately.

Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS/NPORS Crane Supervisor ticket – essential.
  • Proven experience as a crane supervisor in construction or heavy lifting operations.
  • Strong knowledge of lifting procedures, regulations, and site safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and understand lifting plans.
  • CSCS card – preferred.
