Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and driven Resourcer to support our on-site operation at a key client location. This role is pivotal in ensuring all staffing requirements are met by sourcing, screening, and onboarding suitable candidates to support a high-volume workforce. Working closely with a team of on-site Shift Managers, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline, ensuring workers are fully compliant and ready for work, and supporting the overall aim of progressing agency workers into permanent roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, referrals, and local attraction strategies
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure suitability for the client's requirements
- Coordinate start dates, shift allocations, and onboarding processes
- Ensure all candidates complete full compliance checks (right to work, references, documentation, etc.)
- Deliver or support candidate inductions where required
- Maintain a strong pipeline of available workers to meet fluctuating staffing demands
- Work closely with Shift Managers to understand daily and future labour requirements
- Manage candidate availability, attendance, and engagement
- Build strong relationships with candidates to improve retention and performance
- Liaise with the client and on-site management team as required to support workforce planning
- Accurately update and maintain candidate records on the CRM/ATS system
- Work towards individual and team targets, contributing to overall site performance
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or a fast-paced staffing environment (preferred)
- Confident sourcing and engaging candidates in a competitive labour market
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with a proactive and resilient mindset
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working on-site and as part of a wider operational team
