We’re working with a growing, people-focused insurance business in Warrington that is continuing to expand its regional presence. This is a great opportunity for an SME Account Handler to join a collaborative, office-based team.

As an SME Account Handler, you’ll support a varied portfolio of clients, working closely with Account Executives to deliver a high-quality, responsive service. Responsibilities of the SME Account Handler:
  • Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Handle documentation and quotations for additional products.
  • Support Account Executives on larger or more complex cases.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and insurers to maximise retention.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress cases efficiently.
What we are looking for:
  • Commercial insurance experience, or strong Personal Lines experience with a desire to step up.
  • Exposure to products such as Property, Liability, Fleet, PI, D&O, Cyber, and packaged policies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Confidence handling client enquiries across phone, email, and face-to-face.
