We're looking for an ambitious Team Leader – Direct Sales to join a well-established and highly respected insurance business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial insurance experience who enjoys coaching a team, driving performance and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
Working closely with senior management, you'll lead a team of Direct Sales Coordinators while continuing to generate your own new business. You'll play a key role in shaping the team's success, improving processes and identifying opportunities for business growth.
The Role
As Team Leader, you will:
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Direct Sales Coordinators.
- Drive both individual and team new business performance.
- Generate and convert new business opportunities.
- Coach, mentor and support team members to maximise performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, file audits and observations.
- Act as a technical referral point for the team.
- Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to company procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees.
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with senior management on business development initiatives and projects.
