We're looking for an ambitious Team Leader – Direct Sales to join a well-established and highly respected insurance business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial insurance experience who enjoys coaching a team, driving performance and delivering outstanding customer outcomes. Working closely with senior management, you'll lead a team of Direct Sales Coordinators while continuing to generate your own new business. You'll play a key role in shaping the team's success, improving processes and identifying opportunities for business growth. Lead, motivate and develop a team of Direct Sales Coordinators. Drive both individual and team new business performance. Coach, mentor and support team members to maximise performance. Conduct regular performance reviews, file audits and observations. Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and operational efficiency. Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees. Ensure excellent customer service is delivered throughout the sales process. Work closely with senior management on business development initiatives and projects. Experience leading, mentoring or supervising a sales or insurance team. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness.
