Our client is a firm of Independent Financial Planners looking to recruit an additional member of their Technical Paraplanning Team. Working from modern and stylish offices based on the outskirts of Warrington, our client is looking for an ambitious and dedicated individual to join their team and progress to become a Qualified Paraplanner.
Team fit is incredibly important; therefore, those applying should demonstrate commitment and will have, in an ideal world, started working towards or obtained at least one of the CII exams.
Your duties will include:
- Analysing client data
- Researching products to support recommendations
- Working with planners to complete any gaps in information gathered
- Supporting the creation of an investment strategy suitable to the client's needs and objectives
- Compiling financial planning recommendations and suitability reports
- Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
- Managing the research and analysis of financial products to meet Client requirements
- Managing the presentation of technical data to the Financial Planner(s)
- Updating the business on FCA rules
- Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative/compliance requirements, both internally and externally
- Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties.
Candidates applying for the role should come from an IFA background, either in an Admin capacity or someone who is looking for a more involved Trainee Paraplanner/Paraplanner opportunity. Good working knowledge of whole of market products is required, specifically across Pensions.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to be a driver to get to our clientsβ office location, as they are fairly remote, but do offer free and secure onsite parking.
