A leading manufacturer is experiencing an exciting period of growth and now has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Supply Chain Coordinator to join their South Manchester based team. They offer a blended approach to work, giving you the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week on mutually agreed days. They also offer a great benefits package including Pension, Private Medical and Dental cover, 25 days leave, competitive salary, and an annual bonus scheme.

The role will be based at Head Office, close to Manchester Airport with excellent public transport links and the added advantage of free car parking and electric charge points if you choose to drive to work.

Role Overview:

The role will involve supporting the Head of Supply Chain & Team Leader ensuring the highest standard of service is always provided to all customers both internal and external. Responsibilities include:

  • Efficient retrieval, processing, and delivery of all orders through a regular interface with the third-party warehouse & logistics provider (3PL).
  • Co-ordinating activities between customers, 3PL, and internal teams e.g., QA, for timely and effective resolution of any queries, complaints, or distribution problems.
  • Carrying out supply chain duties including customer data and sales data analysis, management and KPI reporting, and order validations.

Key Requirements:

  • An excellent track record of customer service within supply chain with a high level of motivation and determination to succeed.
  • Previous experience of working with 3PLs and maintaining key customer and supplier relationships would be beneficial.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced and busy team environment.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy levels and efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate appropriately, verbally and in writing.
  • Strong computer literacy skills using Excel for regular data analysis and KPI reporting.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills including Pivot tables and Look Ups.
  • Ability to work with SAP and adapt to other software packages is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of supply chain and distribution.

You will have excellent customer service skills within supply chain and be confident working in a fast-paced and busy team environment, along with excellent MS Office skills including Pivot tables and Look Ups using Excel.
