An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Operations Co-ordinator to join a growing Investment Operations team, providing vital back-office support to investment management activities. You'll play a key role in supporting the full post-trade lifecycle while contributing to a range of operational projects and business initiatives.
The Role
As an Investment Operations Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for a broad range of operational activities, ensuring investment transactions are processed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements. Alongside daily operational responsibilities, you'll also have the opportunity to support business improvement projects and develop your technical knowledge within investment management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-trade support, including trade booking and CREST matching oversight
- Process the settlement of multi-asset trades within payment cut-off deadlines
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly client money and custody reconciliations in line with CASS requirements
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions promptly
- Support FCA transaction reporting and monthly reconciliations
- Process corporate actions including dividends, interest payments and stock events
- Produce and distribute regulatory client reports, including valuations, tax reports and cost and charges statements
- Process client withdrawals and cash movements with third-party providers
- Maintain regular client payment schedules
- Process payments to HMRC relating to client tax liabilities
- Maintain market, pricing and security static data
- Complete annual ISA subscription processing
- Set up and maintain client portfolios and account structures
- Review segregated cash balances and standing data
- Produce monthly portfolio valuations
- Process in-specie transfers
- Support business change projects and operational improvements
About You
The successful candidate will have:

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Intelligent Office
- Experience within Wealth Management or Investment Management
- Knowledge of pension and SIPP products
- Experience processing in-specie transfers
- Exposure to legal sector clients or vulnerable client cases, including trusts and Court of Protection matters
