Our client is a specialist independent commercial insurance broker with a strong focus on Private Equity and M A insurance due diligence. Operating from Manchester city centre, the business works directly with investors and deal teams on complex transactions, providing clear, commercially focused insurance advice at key decision points. This is a strong opportunity to join a growing Private Equity M A team and play an active role in live transactions. The role offers direct exposure to acquisitions, disposals and refinancing activity, working closely with Private Equity firms, Venture Capital investors and Family Offices. It is a fast-paced, client-facing position suited to someone who enjoys deal-driven work and taking ownership of multiple transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope and deliver insurance due diligence on live transactions.
  • Engage with investors and deal advisers to understand transaction requirements.
  • Review target company insurance programmes, including structure, cost and claims history.
  • Identify insurance risks, gaps and coverage issues impacting valuation or deal structure.
  • Produce clear, commercially focused insurance due diligence reports.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with insurers to support transaction outcomes and secure appropriate terms.
