This opportunity offers a blend of independence and support – ideal for someone who enjoys driving their own growth, backed by a capable team and a credible brand.

You’ll inherit a small portfolio generating around £50,000 in income, giving you a solid foundation to build from. However, the core focus of this New Business Account Executive role is client acquisition. This position is suited to someone who thrives on developing their own pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term relationships. You’ll have the backing of a telesales team who will book meetings on your behalf, along with access to warm leads through trusted introducers.

Responsibilities of the New Business Account Executive:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new commercial clients, with a focus on sustainable, long-term relationships.
  • Leverage warm leads and meetings generated by the internal telesales team.
  • Work closely with introducers to uncover new opportunities.
  • Deliver tailored risk solutions, maintaining a high level of technical accuracy and client service.
  • Retain and grow the existing inherited book of commercial clients.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience in a New Business Account Executive or similar commercial broking role.
  • A confident and credible approach to building relationships at all levels.
  • Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial lines.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work autonomously while being part of a wider team.
  • Ideally Cert CII qualified and working towards Dip CII.

Benefits of the role:

  • Competitive salary of £60,000 – £80,000, dependent on experience.
  • Bonus scheme linked to new business growth.
  • Group Life Cover.
  • Group Income Protection Cover.
  • Medicash Cash Plan.
  • Access to the BenefitHub Discounts Portal.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing New Business Account Executive who wants to take ownership of their client portfolio while enjoying the backing of a supportive and forward-thinking brokerage.
