Do you want to join a stable business based in Manchester who can offer career development? Our client supplies the UK retailers with FMCG products and due to continued growth they now have an excellent opportunity for a Sales / Customer Support Administrator to join their team.

Job Purpose: To support the sales administration team; you will be responsible for dealing with all consumer support queries, ensuring a professional and timely response to all customer queries and requests, use of correct documentation and delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Support
  • Handling inbound enquiries via email and phone
  • Providing excellent customer service over the telephone
  • Dealing with queries and complaints
  • Making outbound calls following up on enquiries about availability
  • Working to team and individual targets
  • Logging all information accurately on the in-house system
  • Providing customers with a professional service via telephone and email
  • Resolving queries in line with agreed KPIs, ensuring escalations are raised promptly
  • Sales Administration
  • Accurately process sales orders and pro forma invoices, taking responsibility for the end to end process, communicating progress to the customer appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with relevant colleagues and customers including the National Account Manager, Field Sales Team & Sales Admin Manager
  • Build effective and long-term relationships with Customers, taking a lead role in the resolution of any customer queries, requests or issues that may arise

The successful candidate for this role must be previously experienced within a similar role. You will demonstrate a good understanding and experience of using an in-house IT system and will be knowledgeable in the workings of a sales administration team. You will be passionate and accomplished with regards to customer focus and will be confident in all administrational tasks. This role will suit an experienced and highly organised Administrator. Experience with advanced Excel (V-lookups particularly) and Navision (advantageous) will be a distinct advantage.
