The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making. You'll act as a key link between finance and operational teams, helping to improve performance, manage risk, and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in line with planning cycles and deadlines
- Partner with business units, Heads of Departments, and Directors to support financial planning and performance
- Provide insightful analysis, including budget variance, forecasting, and KPI tracking
- Support budgeting processes and develop realistic financial targets
- Build financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Analyse financial data and market trends to provide meaningful insights
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate financial workflows across finance systems, including SAP
- Recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and enhance business understanding
About You
- Fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years relevant experience
- Strong background in management accounts, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience working with internal stakeholders and senior management
- Advanced Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with SAP (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Ambitious and driven, with a desire to develop and progress
