Are you a graduate or an ambitious early-career professional looking to build a successful career in commercial sales and account management? Our client, a leading supplier to the hospitality sector, is looking to recruit a Junior Sales Support Executive to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across business development, sales support and account management while working with major hotel groups and hospitality operators across the UK and internationally.

This is far more than an administration role. You'll receive structured training and mentoring, with a clear progression path into Account Management or Territory Management.

The Role:

Working closely with the Business Development team, you will support the full sales cycle, helping to identify new opportunities, prepare commercial proposals and build strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation of quotations, proposals and tenders
  • Researching new business opportunities and target accounts
  • Identifying key decision-makers and maintaining prospect databases
  • Assisting with lead generation through email, LinkedIn and market research
  • Managing sales activity and opportunities using CRM systems
  • Producing sales reports, pipeline updates and forecasts
  • Supporting account reviews and identifying opportunities for account growth
  • Working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Finance and Customer Experience teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions.

About You

We are keen to hear from graduates or individuals at the beginning of their commercial career who are eager to develop within a fast-paced business. You will ideally have:

  • A degree or some commercial office experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical abilities
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A genuine interest in sales, business development and commercial growth

Previous experience within sales or the hospitality industry is not essential as full training will be provided.
