A forward-thinking, independent insurance brokerage is continuing its impressive growth and is now looking to appoint an experienced Motor Trade Development Executive. This opportunity has a big focus on New Business centred around Motor Trade clients, a great chance to start from scratch and forge strong relationships with clients that you want to work with! You’ll be supported by a dedicated team and given the tools and trust needed to thrive and build a strong book of business.
The Motor Trade Development Executive Responsibilities:
- Build a new portfolio of Motor Trade clients, targeting independent motor dealers, garages, body shops and recovery operators.
- Lead all new business activity - sourcing prospects, generating opportunities and converting leads into long-term clients.
- Take ownership of client engagement, delivering a professional, consultative approach.
- Work with internal teams who will provide warm leads, inbound enquiries and marketing support.
- Deliver tailored insurance solutions by understanding each client’s operations and coverage needs.
- Benefit from experienced Account Handler support, allowing you to focus on front-end development.
- Work primarily from home, with occasional travel to the Stockport office.
Our Ideal Motor Trade Development Executive:
- Strong commercial insurance experience with specific Motor Trade exposure.
- Proven success in winning new business and developing client relationships.
- Solid technical understanding of Motor Trade risks and insurance solutions.
- Confident in client-facing work, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded and able to work independently.
