Junior Import Merchandiser **Would suit a Junior Import Merchandiser or Shipping Administrator!** Home Textiles Supplier Location: Wilmslow - HYBRID WORKING Excellent career progression opportunities Our client is a leading homewares company, supplying UK retailers. They now have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Import Merchandiser to join the hugely successful team based in South Manchester. Where does this role fit in? Support our Buying team with a range of administration tasks. PO management – raising purchase orders on Sage 200 (daily) and placing orders with suppliers. Setting up product codes on Sage 200. Co-ordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers Managing approving shipment bookings Booking goods in with the warehouse Requesting LCs with Accounts and emailing over to supplier. Co-ordinating invoices and packing lists for approval Chasing suppliers on deliveries and keeping relevant departments updated. Updating shipping schedule. Processing shipping documents.
