Responsibilities:
- As a Mid-Market Underwriter, you'll play an important role in delivering profitable growth by assessing and underwriting new commercial insurance risks across Property, Liability and Commercial Motor.
- Underwrite new mid-market business with premiums of up to £50,000 GWP.
- Assess and select risks across Property, Liability and Commercial Motor classes.
- Identify, quote and secure high-quality new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with partner brokers, providing an excellent level of service and responsiveness.
- Negotiate competitive and sustainable underwriting solutions.
- Prioritise a high volume of submissions while making confident underwriting decisions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continued growth and market development.
- Develop your technical underwriting knowledge through a structured training programme and practical experience.
What we are looking for:
