Financial Services Administrator – Lifestyle Financial Planning

Location: Manchester City Centre (Office-Based with WFH Fridays)

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a forward-thinking lifestyle financial planning firm with ambitious growth plans. This is not a traditional financial services business — they’re modern, dynamic, and committed to making continuous improvements for both clients and their team. They are now seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their Manchester office and play a key role in supporting advisers and paraplanners, while ensuring clients receive the very best service.

The Role

This role goes beyond standard administration. You’ll be involved in projects, help refine processes, and be encouraged to share ideas for improvement. It’s the perfect opportunity if you’re looking for variety, autonomy, and the chance to shape how things are done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class administrative support to advisers and paraplanners
  • Process new business, valuations, and client documentation with accuracy
  • Maintain and update records on Intelligent Office (IO) or similar back-office systems
  • Prepare and collate client meeting packs and suitability documents
  • Manage client queries, building strong professional relationships
  • Contribute to process improvement projects across the business
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and FCA guidelines

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally 4+ years’ financial services admin experience (IFA experience preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in learning new systems and technology quickly
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • IO/back-office system experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Exams are a bonus, but the right experience and mindset matter most
