Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an established independent insurance brokerage based in Tameside. This is a great role for a driven and experienced Commercial Account Executive looking to join a close-knit, friendly team with a strong reputation for client service.
The Commercial Account Executive role:
- Developing new business opportunities within the commercial insurance space.
- Managing and servicing an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of retention and satisfaction.
- Inheriting and nurturing a small book of commercial business.
- Proactively sourcing and generating your own leads to drive new business growth.
- Working from a warm internal database of leads, following up effectively to convert opportunities.
- Building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by offering tailored insurance solutions and maintaining regular communication.
- Maintaining excellent service standards, supported by experienced Account Handlers.
- Working as part of a small, friendly and collaborative team in a close-knit office environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Account Executive within an insurance broking environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of commercial insurance products.
- A solid understanding of the UK insurance market and its key players.
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and maintain trust with clients.
- A positive, driven attitude with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using Acturis is essential.
