The Buyer is responsible for the efficient procurement of goods, materials, and services across direct and indirect categories. This role ensures that all purchases meet the company’s cost, quality, and delivery standards while supporting operational needs. By managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams, the Buyer drives supply chain performance, optimises costs, and directly impacts the company’s operational efficiency and overall profitability. What You’ll Be Doing: Source and purchase goods, materials, and services across direct and indirect categories, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational needs. Manage stock levels for raw materials, spares, and consumables to support uninterrupted operations and minimise waste. Develop strong, reliable supplier partnerships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and consistent delivery. Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms, ensuring cost savings and value for the business.
