Responsibilities:
- Assist with underwriting new mid-market business with premiums of up to £50,000 GWP.
- Assess and select risks across Property, Liability and Commercial Motor classes with support from senior colleagues where required.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations for new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with partner brokers, delivering an excellent level of service and responsiveness.
- Support the negotiation of competitive and sustainable underwriting solutions.
- Manage a high volume of submissions while developing confidence in underwriting decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continued growth and market development.
- Continue to develop your technical underwriting knowledge through structured training, mentoring and practical experience.
