Job Description
We are actively recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing insurance firm seeking an Account Handler to join their dynamic team. In this key role, you'll be the trusted point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and delivering exceptional service to meet their insurance needs.
The Account Handler Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Account Executives to provide timely and accurate quotes, adjustments, and renewals.
- Ensuring client records and financial transactions are maintained accurately and promptly.
- Building and nurturing strong client relationships, providing tailored advice to ensure retention and growth.
- Reviewing and identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional cover or close gaps in existing policies.
- Working with insurers to ensure competitive terms and ensure seamless policy placement.
- Responding efficiently to mid-term changes and providing claims support where necessary.
What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Proven background as an Account Handler with strong knowledge of commercial lines including Commercial Combined, Motor and Professional indemnity.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Acturis or similar broking systems.
- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to high-quality service.
- A solid understanding of the insurance market and policies to ensure they align with client needs.
