NJR Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking and client-focused financial planning firm based in Hull that is offering a unique, structured route into advice. The Role:

This is a dual-position role that begins in Paraplanning and transitions into a client-facing advisory role over a 24-month structured development plan. Initial responsibilities will include:

  • Writing suitability reports and financial planning letters
  • Completing technical research and ensuring files meet compliance standards
  • Liaising with product providers, obtaining quotes, illustrations, and valuations
  • Supporting advisers in delivering independent, high-quality financial advice
  • Assisting with tax calculations and new business submissions
  • Actively participating in training, mentoring, and CPD activity
  • As you progress, you will begin building your skills and confidence in client interactions, with the goal of becoming a fully competent and trusted adviser.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of paraplanning experience
  • Working towards (or already holding) the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4)
  • Committed to progressing toward Chartered status – must include AF5
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 (Intelligent Office experience desirable)
  • Passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes
