Our client, a supplier of fast-moving consumer goods to the retail and trade sector, now has an exciting opportunity for an Imports / Shipping Analyst to join their team in Irlam.

Main Job Purpose: To support the business in analysing bonded inventory data, generating reports to ensure compliance with HMRC and Customs regulations and deadlines. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with data, investigating discrepancies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and influencing operational performance through insightful analysis and strong inventory governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customs and Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure bonded warehouse activities comply with HMRC regulations, customs procedures, and internal controls
    • Maintain accurate audit trails and supporting documentation for all bonded transactions
    • Support internal and external compliance audits
  • Reporting and Data Analysis
    • Generate ad hoc analysis to support business and operational priorities.
    • Analyse Stock Reconciliation and Variance Investigation
