Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance professional with a strong track record of developing client relationships and winning new business?
We are working with an established insurance business that is looking to appoint an experienced Client Executive to join its team in North Devon. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded insurance professional to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, develop long-term relationships and play a key role in new business and growth.
The Role
As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for developing, growing and retaining a personal portfolio of insurance clients while contributing to wider sales and business development objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
• Managing a portfolio of clients with potentially complex insurance requirements.
• Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
• Building and managing a personal pipeline of prospective clients.
• Identifying new business opportunities and proactively developing relationships within the market.
• Using your technical insurance knowledge to advise clients and shape discussions around their risks and requirements.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to develop appropriate insurance solutions for clients.
• Working alongside placement teams to ensure complex and challenging risks are placed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Providing accurate sales forecasts and maintaining visibility of pipeline activity.
• Contributing ideas and opportunities to wider trading teams.
• Ensuring client servicing and compliance standards are consistently maintained.
• Maintaining accurate records and using internal systems effectively.
• Keeping your technical knowledge and professional development up to date.
