We're working with a highly professional insurance inspection firm who are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Executive to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.

The Role

You'll work closely with the Business Development Manager to generate new business across insurance broker and some direct sales channels.

Key responsibilities include

  • Generating new business through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.
  • Managing opportunities from initial contact through to conversion.
  • Building strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries and clients.
  • Presenting solutions and negotiating commercially.
  • Following up on inbound enquiries and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Identifying new market and commercial opportunities.

About You

We're looking for someone with

  • Proven experience in sales or business development.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.
  • Experience working with insurance brokers, intermediaries or within the insurance sector would be ideal
  • The role would suit an Assistant Underwriter and Underwriter with a trading bias looking to do something different but maintain insurance market involvement.
