Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
- Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger, supporting journals and schedules, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Experience working in not-for-profit would be an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in accounting and donor management software (i.e., Raisers Edge or Donor Perfect), QuickBooks or other financial management software, Excel, and MS Word.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills that include sensitivity to donor information.
- Post-secondary education in financial related courses or a related field with equivalent experience.

- Adheres to the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Adheres to the provisions of Quinte Health Human Resources Policy.
- Adheres to PECMHF Policies and Procedures outlined in the PECMHF Human Resource Manual.
