As a family-run business, we’re proud of our close-knit culture, high standards and practical, can-do approach. We’re problem solvers, makers and delivery specialists who enjoy making complex creative ideas work in the real world.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Scenic Carpenter / Fabricator to join our in-house workshop team in Windsor. This is a hands-on build role, focused on creating bespoke physical environments for retail, experiential, exhibition and branded projects. Working from technical drawings and production specifications, you’ll help turn creative concepts into high-quality builds through skilled fabrication, practical problem-solving and careful craftsmanship. The role would suit someone who enjoys varied project work, is comfortable in a fast-moving workshop environment and takes real pride in the quality of their finish.

Key Responsibilities

    • You’ll manufacture bespoke scenic builds from technical drawings and production specifications, including:
    • Retail displays
    • Exhibition builds
    • Experiential installations
    • Scenic environments
    • Props and branded feature elements
    • Bespoke structures and display pieces
  • You’ll be expected to work confidently across structural build work and detailed finish work, maintaining accuracy, consistency and high standards across every project.

    • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
    • Preparing materials, components and assemblies
    • Supporting efficient workshop workflows
    • Working to agreed production timelines
    • Maintaining quality without slowing delivery
  • Creative Problem-Solving
    • A big part of the role is helping work out how ambitious ideas can be built well. You’ll support mock-ups, prototypes and concept builds, working with CAD and technical teams to solve practical production challenges. You’ll also be encouraged to suggest better build methods, alternative construction approaches or fabrication efficiencies where useful.
  • Mixed-Material Fabrication
    • You’ll work with a wide range of materials, including:
    • Timber
    • MDF, plywood and sheet materials
    • Acrylics
    • Laminates
    • Scenic finishing materials
    • Mixed-material components
  • Experience with different finishes, textures and construction approaches will be valuable.
  • Workshop Standards and Safe Working
    • You’ll help maintain a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment. This includes safe use of tools, machinery and fabrication equipment, along with general workshop organisation, stock handling and material management.
  • Installation Support
    • You may also support overnight installations, fit-outs and live project delivery where required. This could include assembly, finishing, troubleshooting and final execution on site, representing the business professionally during live delivery.
