We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Engineer on behalf of a leading quantitative trading firm in the exciting world of cryptocurrency trading. This role is crucial in developing and optimizing the core infrastructure that powers their trading operations. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance C++ infrastructure for the entire trading lifecycle, including market data ingestion, exchange connectivity, order execution, and trade simulation.
• Focus relentlessly on minimizing latency and maximizing throughput across all systems.
• Design and implement robust, concurrent systems capable of handling high-volume data streams.
• Expertly manage memory and resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
• Ensure stable and low-latency network connections to cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a high-performance, low-latency order execution system.
• Build and improve realistic trade simulation environments for strategy testing and development.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional C++ skills, including a deep understanding of high-performance programming techniques.
• Strong experience with networking protocols (TCP/UDP) and network programming.
• Proficiency in multithreading, concurrency, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Expertise in memory management, including allocation, deallocation, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of system programming concepts.
• Experience with STL containers, algorithms, and low-level I/O operations.
• Previous experience in at least one of the following: market data processing, exchange connectivity, order execution systems, or trade simulation.
• Knowledge of CPU architecture, cache optimization techniques, and compiler optimization flags.
• A genuine and demonstrable interest in the cryptocurrency space.
