A leading proprietary trading firm is looking for a technical Trade Support Engineer to support its ETF desk. This role is perfect for a proactive technologist with expertise in Python, SQL, and Linux, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with Traders and Developers to ensure seamless trading operations and contribute to improving automation and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Use Python, SQL, and in-house tools to verify ETL pipelines and ensure accurate pricing data for global market openings.
- Bring up ETF pricing software and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for trading operations.
- Continuously improve operational procedures, scripts, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with Traders and Developers to build new tools and workflows.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
- 2+ years of Python experience, including Pandas and object-oriented programming.
- 2+ years of SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of Bash and experience working in a Linux environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
