We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale a global cloud-native Data Lakehouse platform powering quantitative research and trading analytics at massive scale.
What you’ll do:
- Build & evolve a large-scale Data Lakehouse (AWS)
- Develop Python-based data pipelines for high-volume financial data
- Design OLAP / distributed data models for analytics & trading use cases
- Optimise performance across multi-region data platforms
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency at scale
- Partner with quants, researchers, and traders on critical data products
What we’re looking for:
- Strong Python + SQL (essential)
- 5+ years in data engineering / platform engineering
- AWS experience in production data environments
- Hands-on with Spark / Kafka / Snowflake / Databricks (or similar)
- Experience with data lakes / lakehouse / distributed systems
- Background in financial services, trading, or quantitative environments
