What you’ll be doing as a Water Hygiene Technician:
- Travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region.
- Inspect and clean water storage vessels, leading on tank chlorinations.
- Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves.
- Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2 – flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and performing sampling for closed water systems.
- Use the SimPRO system to manage workload.
- Spot problems and proactively find solutions, applying knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
Requirements:
- You should have a full, clean UK driving licence and City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, or equivalent industry experience.
- A successful candidate must undergo an enhanced DBS check and BPSS clearance.
