Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their Leeds Office. This opportunity would suit an ambitious Structural Engineer with a focus on career progression, who enjoys working within a collaborative environment on exciting and varied projects across the UK. They are also seeking a Structures Graduate. This opportunity would suit either a graduate or an individual with relevant post-graduate transportation experience.
Structural Engineer Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years post-graduation work experience, relevant degree and excellent work ethic and be able to work in the office 8.30am-5pm Mon to Fri. Site/meeting visits are part of the role and some may be overnight stays so a driver's licence is essential. Salary is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake structural analysis and detailed design for building and infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant building regulations, design standards, codes of practice and health and safety standards.
- Design input associated with preparation of technical drawings, specifications and reports.
- Carry out site inspections and liaise with contractors during construction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality engineering solutions.
- Support Senior Engineers and mentor graduate Engineers.
