Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person with a professional and customer-focused approach keen to build a career in lighting controls to fill their position as a Lighting Controls Sales Engineer within the lighting controls and energy solutions business. This role is ideal for someone with an interest and experience in lighting controls, intelligent buildings, and energy efficient technology. You will work alongside experienced team members, supporting sales activities through technical assistance, quotations, and customer engagement, while receiving structured training and development.

Location: Home/Office – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers and consultants with lighting controls enquiries
  • Assist with project quotations and basic system designs
  • Attend customer and consultant meetings alone or with senior colleagues as required
  • Help prepare technical and CPD materials with a view to delivery
  • Support the handover from sales to project delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records

Experience & Skills

  • Basic understanding of lighting controls (DALI preferred)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical and commercial skills
  • Willing to travel nationally
  • Exposure to lighting, electrical, BMS, or building services
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM systems
