As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer you will be required to support project teams and to ensure efficient delivery of commissioning activities and handover to operations. Shaping performance criteria at design stage and then ensuring the works completed meet the performance criteria and allow benefits to be measured and realised. Their engineers play an integral part in helping to shape the future of the business. We want you to be part of our diverse workforce. All systems and software training is provided.

The Commissioning Engineer Role:

  • General project engineering support to the wider delivery team
  • Responsible for the commissioning and handover of projects
  • Representing the client in overseeing of Principal Contractors delivered commissioning or direct planning and delivery of commissioning activities
  • Support the project manager and delivery partner through the capital delivery lifecycle ensuring the handover is represented and considered from the earliest stages of the project
  • Contribute to design processes to ensure deliverables meet the clients’ requirements
  • Develop the initial commissioning plan in line with the design

What are we looking for as the Commissioning Engineer?

  • 18th Edition and CSCS or ECS card
  • Operational / delivery experience
  • Logistical / organisational skills
  • Strong client focus
  • Commissioning experience in smart lighting controls, AV, Fire, BMS, or other lighting.
