Pay: Β£22.00 β Β£23.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join a Building Repairs & Maintenance team based in Yeovil.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to move into a permanent position at the end of the contract.
The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance works across properties in Yeovil and the surrounding area.
We are looking for someone with a qualified trade background in either Carpentry or Plumbing, who is also comfortable carrying out general multi-trade repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general building repairs and maintenance.
- Complete repairs within properties and customers' homes.
- Undertake works within your core trade of Carpentry or Plumbing.
- Carry out general multi-trade duties as required.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
- Work safely and professionally at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service.
About You
- Recognised qualification in Carpentry or Plumbing.
- Previous experience in building repairs and maintenance.
- Strong multi-trade skills.
- Able to successfully complete a DBS check.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
