As aContracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing contractors, overseeing contract performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and within budget. Contracts Manager key responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery and performance of planned maintenance, refurbishment, and capital works contracts
- Overseeing contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Managing contract performance, costs, programmes, variations, and commercial outcomes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, consultants, residents, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress through regular meetings, site visits, inspections, and performance reviews
- Ensuring contracts comply with relevant legislation, health & safety requirements, building regulations, and organisational policies
- Reviewing specifications, programmes, valuations, variations, and contractor performance xgikmsk
- Producing accurate reports and management information to support effective governance and decision-making
- Identifying risks and opportunities and implementing appropriate actions to ensure successful contract delivery
- Driving continuous improvement and ensuring residents receive a high-quality service throughout the delivery of works
