We are delighted to be partnering with Dacorum Borough Council who are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to join their team. As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of the external contractors on the repairs and maintenance service, leading a team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and compliant services to residents. This is a remote role with expectations to be in the office only on a few occasions a month.

Commercial Contract Manager key responsibilities include:
- Leading the commercial function across responsive repairs and maintenance services
- Overseeing compliance aspects including gas, electric and health and safety
- Overseeing budgets, cost control and financial forecasting to ensure value for money
- Managing contractor relationships, procurement activities and performance frameworks
- Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, health & safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Identifying opportunities for service improvement, efficiency savings and innovation
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction
The successful Commercial Contract Manager will have:
- Strong experience in a Commercial Contract Manager role within social housing, repairs or maintenance and compliance
- Proven ability to manage external teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
- Solid financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and cost control
