We are looking for a proactive and motivated Project Surveyor to join a leading Property Services team.

As a Project Surveyor you will take ownership of repair projects providing technical solutions for residents.

You will provide a full range of surveying functions and support to maintain assets, ensuring that repair works are delivered within budget constraints and controls, and against quality standards.

You will be based on site, at home and in the office with frequent travel around Bath!

Location: Hybrid, Bath
6 month contract
£30-£35 per hour via Umbrella
0.45p mileage from office to sites
Project Surveyor duties:

  • Carry out pre work surveys, including insurance and subsidence surveys to identify repairs and maintenance requirements
  • Provide detailed reports and specifications of works to contractors and internal teams to remedy defects identified.
  • Provide effective project management until completion of work, ensuring the customer experience and quality standards are understood, maintained and developed.
  • Work closely with the local authority planning departments, ensuring the design, specification and delivery of works is carried out in accordance with statutory requirements including listed building compliance.
  • Work closely with leaseholders to ensure standards of repairs are met in a timely manner and that repair projects comply with legal procedures to recover costs appropriately. xiskglj

To succeed as the Project Surveyor, you need

  • Hold a minimum of HNC or HND Level 3 qualification in Construction or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence ability to successfully diagnose building defects, set specification of works and project manage to completion
  • Experience within insurance and subsidence
  • Evidence experience of working with leaseholders, ensuring S20 compliancy, in order to deliver repair led projects to buildings and structures
  • Evidence experience of working with listed and historic buildings, submitting applications for consent and adhering to guidelines
