We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Team Leader to join a forward-thinking Housing Association in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong leadership experience to manage a busy frontline housing service and help deliver high-quality support to local communities.

As Housing Team Leader, you will oversee a team of approximately 7–8 officers across Housing Management and Anti‑Social Behaviour services. You will provide day‑to‑day operational leadership, performance management, coaching, and support to ensure excellent service delivery to residents. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office presence, home working, and community‑based engagement where required.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Team Leader
  • Lead and manage a team of Housing Officers and ASB Officers
  • Monitor team performance and ensure service targets and KPIs are achieved
  • Support tenancy management, safeguarding, and ASB case management activities
  • Handle complex housing and resident issues, providing guidance and escalation support
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Build positive relationships with residents, partner agencies, and stakeholders
  • Drive service improvements and promote excellent customer service standards
About you
  • Proven experience working within Housing Services, ideally within a Local Authority or social housing environment
  • Previous line management or supervisory experience managing teams and workloads
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation, and ASB processes
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
  • The ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast‑paced environment
  • A customer‑focused and solution‑driven approach
