Are you an experienced property professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and achieving high-quality results? If so, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for a proactive and motivated Interim Property and Asset Manager to join a leading Property team. This role is for a fixed period until project completion, requiring the relevant skills and experience to manage the transition of a multi-tenanted commercial development from completion of Landlord's works through the Tenant fit-out periods into BAU as a multi-let property.

You will be based in the office 2 days a week in Lichfield, with the rest working from home. The day rate is negotiable.

Interim Property and Asset Manager duties:

  • Understand and have experience of handling commercial Landlord & Tenant matters in a multi-let property.
  • Quickly assimilate the Agreements for Lease and Leases, identify the project's key obligations and complexities, and use that understanding to manage the transition and prepare the Property Management Operating Model for implementation.
  • Manage the process of transferring each of the shell units to the relevant Tenant.
  • Continue to work with the Tenants during their fit-out periods to ensure health and safety compliance, manage on-site interaction between Tenants and their contractors to ensure safe efficient operation and resolve any issues raised.
  • Engage with managing agents, stakeholders, Council departments, other external agencies and professional advisors to prepare for and ensure a smooth transition into a multi-tenanted operational leisure and F&B development implementing the Property Management Operating Model.
  • Coordinate the transition and handover of the property to managing agents for continued management.

To succeed as the Interim Property and Asset Manager, you need:

  • Experience of working within commercial property (leisure, F+B).
  • Experience handling commercial Landlord and tenant matters in a multi-let property.
  • Understanding of the transition of a development and ability to support this.
