Voids Supervisor
for an established housing provider in Hertfordshire, supporting the delivery of responsive repairs and voids across social housing properties!
As a Voids Supervisor, you will be responsible for the delivery of repairs in all void properties, ensuring that properties are returned within agreed timescales and that works meet the Lettable Standard.

Previous social housing experience essential Our client is an established housing provider responsible for maintaining residential properties and delivering responsive repairs to residents. The organisation works with contractors and maintenance teams to ensure homes remain safe, well-maintained and compliant with relevant standards.

Responsible for the line management of GRT Operatives (Voids), ensuring that the void team have support to deliver works without disruption. Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of GRT operatives. To co-ordinate repair works to void properties ensuring the most effective and efficient turnaround times. To ensure that the Lettable Standard is adhered to by internal and external contractors, within agreed budgets. The successful Voids Supervisor will have: Previous experience working as a Voids Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor, Voids Team Leader or in a similar role. Essential experience within social housing , ideally overseeing responsive repairs and voids. Experience managing operatives, subcontractors or external contractors. A strong understanding of day-to-day repairs and maintenance within residential properties. Experience carrying out property inspections and monitoring the quality of completed works. Knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe working practices. The ability to manage workloads, prioritise repairs and resolve operational issues. Strong communication and organisational skills. A customer-focused approach when dealing with residents and housing teams. A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel across the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire area. This role would suit an experienced
