I am looking for a Solar Electrician to work for a social housing contractor in Maidenhead and the surrounding areas. The candidate will be responsible for working within tenanted and void properties and will receive a company van from their first day!
The Solar Electrician will receive:
- Hourly pay of £26 per hour
- Salary up to £40,000 once permanent
- Company van and fuel card
- 33 days annual leave
The Solar Electrician will have:
- General competence in Solar PV installation.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Systems.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification and AM2.
- BPEC qualification (or equivalent) in Solar PV installation.
- Strong punctuality, professionalism, and flexibility.
- Familiarity with mobile PDA devices for job tracking.
The Solar Electrician will be responsible for:
- Working closely with customers
- Installing Solar PV systems in compliance with MCS standards, PAS 2035, and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Ensuring efficient, high-quality, and safe installation of all products and materials.
- Conducting repairs, minor works, and remedial call-backs as needed.
- Responding to urgent breakdown calls and diagnosing faults quickly and effectively.
- Liaising with the project manager to maintain quality standards within the QMS and company quality manual.
