This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join a growing team delivering void property repairs and refurbishment works within social housing properties. As a Multi Trade Operative, you will carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across void social housing properties throughout Derby and surrounding areas. You will be provided with a company van, fuel card, power tools, and PPE to support you in delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Multi Trade Operative:

  • Carrying out repairs and refurbishment works within void social housing properties
  • Completing carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, flooring and painting works
  • Preparing void properties for new tenants
  • Delivering works safely, efficiently, and to agreed timescales
  • Updating works and job progress using a PDA system
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship across all properties

The successful Multi Trade Operative will have:

  • NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade, or qualified by experience
  • Experience carrying out property repairs and maintenance
  • Experience working within void properties
  • Previous social housing experience desirable
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
