As a Multi Trade Operative, you will carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across void social housing properties throughout Derby and surrounding areas. You will be provided with a company van, fuel card, power tools, and PPE to support you in delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities of the Multi Trade Operative:
- Carrying out repairs and refurbishment works within void social housing properties
- Completing carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, flooring and painting works
- Preparing void properties for new tenants
- Delivering works safely, efficiently, and to agreed timescales
- Updating works and job progress using a PDA system
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship across all properties
The successful Multi Trade Operative will have:
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade, or qualified by experience
- Experience carrying out property repairs and maintenance
- Experience working within void properties
- Previous social housing experience desirable
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
