We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team working across social housing properties and care homes in South Birmingham. The role will primarily involve carrying out painting and decorating works within kitchens and bathrooms as part of planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes. Candidates must be comfortable working in occupied properties and care home environments while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
Duties:
- Painting and decorating kitchens and bathrooms
- Surface preparation including sanding, filling, caulking and priming
- Applying emulsion, gloss, satin and specialist coatings as required
- Carrying out work within occupied social housing properties and care homes
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Completing works within agreed timescales
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Own brushes, rollers and hand tools
- Full PPE
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Own transport preferred
